September 2020: Every Game And DLC Releasing (VIDEO)
The beginning of a new month is upon us and based on the growing pile leaves outside, it appears to be the month of September. Though there’s still plenty left of the year, the remaining weeks ahead nonetheless hold no shortage of hype, with September 2020 alone ushering in quite a few anticipated titles to their long-awaited release. A few of the biggest highlights of the month include the board-flipping Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 remaster, the superhero-assembling Marvel’s Avengers, and the commencement of Early Access for fantasy RPG Baldur’s Gate 3.
If that wasn’t enough to hold gamers’ attention, the next few weeks introduce prominent new series entries such as 2K Sports’ basketball simulator NBA 2K21, the arcade-focused offerings of WWE 2K Battlegrounds, as well as the over-the-top shooter antics of Serious Sam 4. Evident by Tony Hawk’s resurgence, remastered releases are also all the rage in September, delivering a lovely coat of paint to the last-gen likes of medieval RPG Kingdoms of Amalur, crime-shooter saga Mafia, as well as the PC-crushing classic of Crysis.
In terms of DLC, plenty appears to be gracing the post-launch of player’s favorite titles, including the new Peril On Gorgon DLC for The Outer Worlds, a double-dose of goose in Untitled Goose Game, a Fustercluck-ing new expansion for Borderlands 3, as well as the final title update for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Though there’s an undoubted spattering of high-end games in September 2020, fans also have a fair share of smaller releases like the free-to-play magic-royale title Spellbreak, the Early Access debut of co-op dinosaur hunter Second Extinction, and the long-awaited cavernous puzzler Spelunky 2.
Of course, there’s even more games and DLC where that came from in September 2020–all of which can be viewed in the list below. Let us know which games you’re excited to play down in the comments and be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to stay informed of the latest in gaming and entertainment news 24 hours a day!
