Dragon Ball FighterZ To Add Master Roshi In September

Master Roshi

Master Roshi who is also known as the Turtle Hermit (and for training Gohan) is coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ this September according to a tweet by the Bandai Namco US twitter earlier today. The tweet consists of a small trailer highlighting the abilities of Master Roshi as well as revealing Goku Ultra Instinct and Kefla. All of that is included in the third DLC for Dragon Ball FighterZ.

The trailer is only just over a minute long but the last of it hangs out with the The Master of Martial Arts himself  giving you the pure comedic genius that he is with a sprinkle of Master Roshi’s abilities. including his Evil Containment Wave attack. It’s also seen in the trailer that there are two “coming soon…” panels indicating that there is still more to come.

Dragon Ball FighterZ was initially released in January of 2018  (for the US) and is based of the anime Dragon Ball Z which was first released in 1989 in Japan.  The final episode of the original anime dropped in the same year as it landed in the US in 1996. However there are many other installments in the popular anime series such as Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super.

Dragon Ball FighterZ as it stands features 41 fighters including Android 16, Frieza, Gohan, Trunks and more as the FighterZ passes have been released over the course of the last two years. The game is developed by Arc System Works and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment who’s also responsible for popular titles like Pac-Man (1980) and the Soulcalibur franchise.
