Borderlands 3 Psycho Krieg DLC Gameplay Detailed (VIDEO)

Borderlands 3

Borderlands 3 has had three DLC packs for the game’s season pass beginning with the Moxxi’s Heist Of The Handsome Jackpot, followed by Guns, Love, and Tentacles as well as the most recent addition, Bounty of Blood. The fourth and final DLC was recently revealed with quite the unique name, Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck.

Lead writer for Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC Connor Thomas Cleary spoke in a recent video concerning the DLC, explaining just what kind of mayhem players will be able to get into when it arrives in Borderlands 3, and shares that he is equally as surprised as players that the title managed to get approved. Vault Hunters will see themselves thrust into the mind of the Conductor of the Poop Train himself, Krieg.

It seems that Tannis is searching for an origin to the Pandoran Psychosis by accessing a single thought dubbed Vaulthalla that she theorizes breaks any mind that tries to contain it. In order to even access Vaulthalla however, Vault Hunters will need to traverse through Krieg’s warped memory of the Siege of Crimson Castle, before taking on an evil train in Saphhire’s Run to recover some stolen memories. Lastly, they’ll need to find their way through the Benediction of Pain, a sort of Origin story for Krieg, following his time in hellish Hyperion experiments before discovering the truth of Vaulthalla alongside both Psycho Krieg and Sane Krieg.

The fourth Borderlands 3 DLC is set to arrive on September 10th for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Are you ready to hop into the broken mind of a Pandoran psycho?
