July 2018: Here’s The Full List Of Games Releasing This Month (VIDEO)
Video game releases never stop! The upcoming month of July 2018 makes that notion clear. Even in the face of hot dog-laden Fourth of July barbecues and the coincidental occurrence of Friday the 13th, the playable adventure medium known as gaming keeps on trucking with big releases such as the Nintendo throwback RPG Octopath Traveler, the Xbox One debut of No Man’s Sky, and the trilogy-ending strategy game The Banner Saga 3.
The newbie games continue their arrival with Warhammer: Vermintide II on Xbox One, the continued adventures of Finn and Jake in Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion, and the console release of the procedurally-generated roguelike 20XX. The theme July 2018 seems to be “upgrade,” as several big games are seeing a re-release with enhanced features. Red Faction: Guerrilla is getting a “Re-Mars-tered” update, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker sees a Switch overhaul, and Sonic Mania Plus looks to deliver the game’s definitive experience.
