Every month features a new set of free games for console owners and ensures folks don’t get bored. Not everyone can afford to purchase a new game regularly, but a one-time purchase of the same price for 12 months of diverse options? That is sustainable for gamers. The selection for the free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers for the upcoming month of July 2018, featuring gems such as Heavy Rain, Absolver, Rayman 3 HD, Space Overlords, Deception IV: The Nightmare Process, and Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma.

As usual each of these titles can be enjoyed on their respective console including the predecessor PS3, and the PS Vita. Here’s the full line-up of games for July 2018:

• Heavy Rain (PS4)

Experience the gripping psychological thriller that is filled with innumerable twists and turns. Spanning four days, hunt a murderer known only as the Origami Killer – named after the calling card they leave behind at crime scenes. Four characters, each following their own leads and with their own motives, must take part in a desperate attempt to prevent the killer from claiming a new victim. How this story ends is entirely up to you.

• Absolver (PS4)

Go behind the mask of this customizable and fluid martial arts-focused action game. Players can build combinations of strikes, parries, and feints to make their own unique fighting style, all while exploring a dynamic world with dedicated PvP and PvE areas.

• Rayman 3 HD (PS3)

Embark on a fantastic and humorous journey with Rayman and Globox to save the Crossroad of Dreams. Masterfully enhanced with eye-popping high definition visuals and sounds, Rayman 3 HD is the definitive version of the Rayman classic “Rayman 3 Hoodlum’s Havoc” and a must-play for all Rayman fans and platform adventure game enthusiasts.

• Deception IV: The Nightmare Process (PS3)

Unleash your inner evil! The Nightmare Princess, Velguirie, uses her kicks and spins in her own quest to revive the Devil by trapping humans. Set over 180 traps in a variety of locales, including all new modern stages!

• Space Overlords (PS Vita)

Four brothers known as the Overlords have been incarcerated by the evil Kesedihan for many years whilst he has slowly destroyed the cosmos. You and your brothers must rise up and purge the evil contaminating the planets you have nurtured over the centuries. The gameplay style puts you straight into the centre of the action – razing buildings and smashing through planetary defences.

• Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma (PS Vita)

Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma features diabolic new puzzles and fully animated story sections that push the boundaries of interactive storytelling! Newcomers and familiar faces round out a robust cast of characters while English and Japanese voice over options flesh out the narrative. Multiple endings and non linear story mechanics will keep you coming back for more!

PlayStation Plus hosts a variety of games each month for free, and subscriptions vary from the standard 1, 3, and 12 month contracts. There’s a separate service Sony provides for their console dubbed PlayStation Now that lets gamers play from a library of over 650 titles from independent and triple-A developers. Since the blazing Summer time heat has arrived, cooling off with some video games at home isn’t such a bad idea!
