Overcooked 2

Per the video’s description: “Overcooked 2 is serving up more chefs, more kitchens, more recipes, more co-op madness and even more Kevin with the second helping of concentrated co-op chaos! Buddy up or go it alone as you cook up a storm, chopping, steaming and frying your way through dynamic and outright crazy levels. Now with online multiplayer for up to four chefs, there is no such thing as too many cooks and the steaks have never been higher as you prepare to save the Onion Kingdom… Again.” Overcooked 2 will launch on August 7th for Nintendo Switch.

Killer Queen Black

“Killer Queen Black is an intense multiplayer action/strategy platformer for up to eight players. Fly solo, or team up with three of your friends as you race to complete one of three possible victory conditions. Killer Queen Black, a new take on the arcade eSport Killer Queen, has been rebuilt from the ground up and optimized for console. The gameplay is immediately recognizable and familiar, yet it introduces exciting new twists and online play for the home audience.” The game is expected to hit Nintendo Switch this Winter.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses

The fan-favorite Fire Emblem series is back in a new entry Three Houses, surprising many with it’s new visual style. The trailer features a look at the traditional tactical combat, but the game also sports a more realistic feel than seen in previous games. The more realistic approach stretches from the fully-animated cutscenes to the gameplay, ensuring a pretty unique experience for fans.

Fortnite

As the battle royale title is among the most popular games in the world right now, it’s no surprise to learn that Fortnite has indeed been confirmed for Nintendo Switch. The reveal gave fans a sizzle reel of all the fun gamers have to look forward to, as the free game went live on the Nintendo eShop shortly after the Nintendo E3 2018 presentation aired.

Hollow Knight

Hollow Knight, which was originally release in February 2017, made its Nintendo Switch debut today. To celebrate the joyous occasion, the Big N released a wonderful launch trailer, as well as the following description:

“Forge your own path in Hollow Knight for Nintendo Switch! An epic action adventure through a vast ruined kingdom of insects and heroes. Explore twisting caverns, battle tainted creatures and befriend bizarre bugs, all in a classic, hand-drawn 2D style.

Includes all of the new items, areas, characters, and bosses from the currently released free content packs; Hidden Dreams, The Grimm Troupe, and Lifeblood. All players will also get access to the final free content pack, Gods and Glory, due later this year.”

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Nintendo’s showcase of Super Smash Bros. was likely the highlight of the show with the reveal of the most comprehensive version of the fighting game ever made. Every fighter since the series began is returning in the upcoming Switch game, meaning the likes of one-off fighters such as Snake from Metal Gear Solid are available to compete once again. The new version will feature fresh gameplay tweaks and many of the series’ classic fight stages, but the biggest surprise came in the form of Metroid villain Ridley who joins the roster after over a decade of fan demand.
