Fortnite PlayStation 4 Bundle Coming Next Month, Royale Bomber Outfit Included

Fortnite PS4

Sony appears to be doubling down on getting players to come to Team Blue after the recent flare-up in the great cross-play war. When Fortnite arrived on Nintendo Switch during E3, it was quickly discovered that players’ Epic accounts could not be used on bother PS4 and Switch, causing a whirlwind of backlash. That said, Sony has essentially brushed it off, now revealing a Fortnite PS4 bundle.

In a post on the PlayStation Italia Facebook page, Sony was a bit excited to reveal the Fortnite bundle, doing so before anywhere else. The post reads, “Ready for summer challenges? From July 16th PS4 arrives with Fortnite, the videogame phenomenon of the year! In the package there will also be the special costume Royale Bomber and 500 V-Bucks!” Get a closer look at the Royale Bomber skin below:

It has also been revealed that the Save the World mode will be included with the bundle. After all, Battle Royale isn’t the only thing Fortnite has to offer. It just happens to be the free side of the game. Save the World, however, offers a bit of story for gamers to enjoy, and it was the first game mode Fortnite had to offer.

For those unaware as to what Save the World is all about, here’s a short description:

“The Storm came without warning and 98% of the world’s population vanished … then came the monsters. You and up to four players lead the world’s remaining Heroes in a battle to save survivors and hold back the monster hordes. Explore a large, destructible world where no two games are ever the same. Build huge forts, craft exotic weapons, find loot and level up your Heroes.”

Fortnite is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One, and iOS devices. The Fortnite PS4 bundle is set to arrive on July 16th in what looks to only be a 500GB Slim model at this time.
