Fortnite Leak Suggests The Leviathan Is Coming Soon

The internet went absolutely crazy yesterday went Fortnite felt the need to launch a freaking rocket into the sky, which ended up creating what appears to be a dimensional rift that may be setting the stage for Season 5. While plenty of rampant speculation has begun to spread, a new Fortnite leak suggests that the mythical beast known as the Leviathan may be coming soon.

The Twitter account @TwoEpicBuddies is widely known for having previously – and more importantly, accurately – predicting various Fortnite updates before they actually happen, and the buddies recently tweeted out an image stating that Leviathan will arrive near the end of season 4. Check it out below:

“2 new LMT’s will be coming near the end of season 4,” the tweet reads. “A 50v50 but one person in one team will control the big leviathan and the team with the leviathan have to escort him to wailing woods or greasy grove. The other team has to take it down before it’s too late! There’s infinite lives in the gamemode but no building.”

Based on the above information, the upcoming Limited Time Mission will be a massive 50v50 game where one team is trying to keep the other team’s Leviathan away from either greasy grove, or wailing woods. The LMT will seemingly be a rather straightforward mode as well, given that there will reportedly be no building. It will be interesting to see how Epic Games rationalizes the appearance of the mythical creature, though they will doubtlessly chalk it up to the dimensional rift now looming over the game’s map.

Fortnite is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
