PS5 And Next Xbox Will Allow Anthem Save Transfers From This Gen, Says BioWare
With all of the talk of PlayStation 5 and the next Xbox, BioWare has reassured fans that Anthem’s progress will carry over into the next generation of gaming.
BioWare devs recently opened themselves up to questions in an AMA on Twitter with fans asking a range of questions concerning Anthem’s endgame, the recent demo, and more. One fan in particular asked an important question regarding the next-generation of consoles and whether or not progress would carry over. Anthem’s head of live service Chad Robertson spoke up, expressing that progress would indeed carry over with a simple “Always…”.

Crossover between console generations isn’t anything new but was never mandatory. It is nice to see a confirmation of this feature however with Microsoft making large pushes for cross-play integration, could this also allow for players to transfer between rival corporations similar to the way GTA V does?
This isn't very clear. If we're on PS4 can we transfer to either next gen console? Or only the same upgrade. GTA 5 allowed you to cross save anywhere from anywhere.
