Dino Crisis Being Remade In Unreal By Fans (VIDEO)

Dino Crisis Capcom

Dino Crisis 3 released on Xbox in 2003 and was the last installment of the main Capcom franchise much to the dismay of fans. While rumors of a continuation of the series have been floating around for years, it’s been denied by developers time and time again to the point that it appears as though there will never be an official reboot, remake, or even sequel. There is a bit of hope, however, as some fans have taken it upon themselves to recreate the original Dino Crisis using Unreal Engine 4.

A series of videos by team Arklay’s reveals a very well crafted recreation of a few areas within the original Dino Crisis such as offices, hallways, and many more military compound locations. There isn’t much in the way of living beings roaming around these areas quite yet but perhaps in the future, the creators will see fit to add something in. With any luck, team Arklay’s will be able to continue working on their ambitious endeavor without any hindrances or being shut down by Capcom themselves.

Unfortunately, there isn’t any information on when the makers of the Dino Crisis fan project plan to release but they’ve been fairly diligent about showing off their progress on YouTube. Are you excited to see this fan remake come to life? Will fans ever get a new and official Dino Crisis title? Let us know your thoughts on the fan-recreation of Dino Crisis and more in the comments section below.
