Destiny 2 Annual Pass To Feature New Locations But No New Planets (VIDEO)
Bungie is hoping to step up their game even more after the release of Destiny 2: Forsaken and the upcoming annual pass. Unfortunately, the pass has been the cause of some confusion. Thankfully, the developers have stepped in to answer questions concerning the annual pass including where fans will be going throughout each season.
During a Q&A with Destiny 2: Forsaken’s game director Steve Cotton and project lead Scott Taylor, the pair was asked whether or not players would be able to explore new areas in the three upcoming seasons: Black Armory, Joker’s Wild and Penumbra. While the developers confirmed that there would be new “bubbles or new spaces” but that doesn’t mean “new” planets which was reiterated by Colton.
This of course doesn’t leave past locations out of the running for places Guardians might be able to visit. The end cinematic for Destiny 2’s core story saw locations such as Oryx’s Dreadnaught and even Saturn after the Reef. Perhaps it’s a possibility that players will be able to return to the massive Hive vessel. A recent ViDoc shows off some of the locations players will be able to visit in the DLC such as some kind of underground bunker or even the location of Destiny 2’s first raid, Leviathan:
Destiny 2 is available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The Forsaken expansion released on September 4th. Have you jumped in on the action for yourself?
