Destiny 2: Forsaken – The Guardian Speaks Of Vengeance In Epic Launch Trailer (VIDEO)
With the Destiny 2: Forsaken expansion just one week away, fans of Bungie’s MMO are chomping at the bit to take vengeance on Cayde-6’s soon to be murderer, Uldren Sov. Despite no longer being voiced by Nathan Fillion in the new expansion, Cayde-6 was one of ours, and his death will not go unpunished, something the Guardian echoes verbally in the new Forsaken launch trailer. Check it out below:
Judging by the trailer, both Zavala and Ikora can’t do much about the situation, so it’s up to the Guardian (that’s you) to set things right and go after Uldren Sov yourself. It won’t be easy, though, as he has the backing of the barons that were set free during the prison break. Additionally, Sov is also seen messing around with a shard of the Traveller, which suggests that he may be trying to get his hands on Guardian powers. At the very least, that would make for one helluva showdown.
While there is only one version of the launch trailer featuring a male Guardian, it is highly likely that female Guardians will also be voiced in the Forsaken expansion, especially since that was an option back in the original Destiny. We won’t have much longer to wait, as the Destiny 2: Forsaken expansion launches on September 4, 2018.
Destiny 2 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
