Assassins Creed Easter Egg Found in Middle-Earth: Shadow of War (VIDEO)
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War releases within just a few days leaving many fans with anticipation. The first game in the series was well received but was also heavily compared to the Assassin’s Creed franchise for its similarities in stealth, movement, and combat mechanics. Monolith has embraced their similarities and provided fans with a small Assassins Creed easter egg found by critics playing through the game before its full release.
While roaming through the massive open world, one reviewer stumbled across a conversation between two Orcs where one declares, “I’m an assassin” to which his friend replies “We’re all assassins … It’s like a Creed.” While it might not be the largest Assassins Creed easter egg to be found, it’s a fun nod to the series nonetheless. Reviewers claim there are quite a lot of interesting conversations held between various characters in the game’s open world which are worth listening to. From the little bit we’ve seen so far, the sequel features a lot more Orc humor than its predecessor.
Some fans may be eager to just run and destroy everything in sight but sometimes taking your time and listening to the Orcs can provide you with some good entertainment and underlying story aspects. What other hidden secrets will fans find in the coming months? Middle-Earth Shadow of War releases for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on October 10th.
