Call of Duty: WWII Season Pass Holders Will Receive an Iconic Map as Bonus Content

Last month, Activision and Sledgehammer Games announced several iconic locations from World War 2 for the multiplayer beta: Aachen, Ardennes Forest, Gibraltar, and Pointe du Hoc. More recently, developers have revealed that they’ll be bringing back a classic map to their latest game by reintroducing Carentan – the “most iconic and beloved map in Call of Duty history”. There is no doubt a bit of a catch. Those holding a Call of Duty: WWII season pass will be rubbing their hands together with glee because in order to get that beauty of a classic as a bonus, you’ll have to have one.

Fight through the destroyed buildings and fortified streets of this war-torn French town in an all-out battle for a strategic German stronghold.”

If purchased separately, aside from the $60 price tag for the game itself, gamers will need to whip out another $50 on top of that. At that point, contemplating the special edition doesn’t sound like such a bad idea. Looking for a good compromise between the two? There’s also the Call of Duty: WWII digital deluxe or pro (physical) edition for $99, and that includes a season pass and other loot.

From Doctor Who voice actors, the faces of famous NFL players, zombies, and brand new trailers that detail the upcoming story campaign and gameplay – Call of Duty: WWII is shaping up to be a great refresh button for the CoD franchise. Unfortunately, it’s not all fun and games when it comes to being one of the most well-known franchises in the video game industry because there’s always hackers looking to ruin the fun of achievement for everybody else. Of course, Activision and Sledgehammer will make anti-cheat technology a top priority for PC players.

Call of Duty: WWII is scheduled for a November 3rd, 2017 release date on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. So, gamer friends, do you have a Call of Duty: WWII season pass within your grasp?
