Latest Monster Hunter World Collaboration With Devil May Cry Revealed (VIDEO)
The third Monster Hunter World collaboration has been revealed, and this time all consoles get to reap the rewards. The first event was a PlayStation exclusive featuring Aloy of Horizon Zero Dawn and the second featured Capcom characters Ryu and Sakura of the Street Fighter series, which was also restricted to PlayStation 4 as a timed exclusive. The next crossover event will feature another Capcom title however this time, it will be fully accessible to all platforms from the start. Celebrating the launch of the Devil May Cry HD Collection, players will soon be able to take on new unique challenges for awesome looking DMC gear.
Similar to the other crossover events, the Devil May Cry collaboration will see players tasked with completing special quests in order to unlock an armor set that allows them to take on the appearance of DMC hero Dante. Just as with the Horizon Zero Dawn crossover, players will also be getting a weapon. This time around the weapon is a charge blade which you can see in action below that changes from a Force Edge into a massive Alastor. Even though the set will have no shield, players will still be able to block as though they had one with a rune circle around the character’s wrist.
There’s no date set for the Monster Hunter World x Devil May Cry collaboration, however if you really need to satisfy your DMC itch the Devil May Cry HD Collection is now available across PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 for $29.99. The collection contains remastered versions of Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition.
