World War Z Player Classes Revealed With New Trailer (VIDEO)

World War Z Player Classes

Zombies have been quite a popular media fixation so far in the 21st century, and gamers are certainly aware of their ubiquity in video games. Naturally, it makes sense that Paramount Pictures would utilize their World War Z film rights to adapt the popular book and film franchise to the world of playable adventures. Footage seen before has confirmed that the new title will feature locations and zombie formations seen in the Brad Pitt film, and now a new trailer has provided details for the World War Z player classes available in the game.

Paramount Pictures and Saber Interactive have released the new trailer detailing the six player classes on their official World War Z game YouTube channel. The Slasher class specializes in close range combat, with an added boost to melee attacks compared to other players. Hellraisers are armed with various explosive weapons, which make them the most well-suited for dealing with large swarms of zombies which are common in the game.

For the pyromaniacs out there, the Exterminator class has you covered. Their flamethrowers and Molotov cocktails have the hottest effect on the undead. Check out all of the classes in the new trailer below:

Those looking for a traditional zombie game experience would likely prefer the Gunslinger class, which provides a wide variety of short and long range firearms. The Medic class is perfect for those that prefer serving the team as a healer. With their stim pistol, they can help heal other players both close by and from a distance.

Lastly, the Fixer class provides support for other members of the team by refilling ammo and providing more weapon options. It’s good to see that the game caters to players of many different styles and preferences from World War A to World War Z.
