Monster Hunter World Future Event Scheduled, Including Upcoming Street Fighter Quest
Monster Hunter World recently arrived allowing both experienced and newbee Hunters to challenge the “New World” alongside friends and their Palicoe comrades. While the game is lengthy already, Capcom has promised to deliver an abundance of free content furthering the incredibly fun time. The company has released an event schedule which includes the upcoming Street Fighter quest that will net players with Ryu and Sakura armor sets.
The schedule below features all of the events which will make an appearance in the month of February. The first part of the Street Fighter quest is called “Down the Dark, Muddy Path” and will be available for Early Access starting February 16th and running through March 1st. In order gain early access, players will need to have saved data for Street Fighter V or Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition on the PlayStation 4.
The event will be located in the game’s arena and players will need to be HR 3 or higher in order to participate in slaying a Barroth. Upon completion, players will be rewarded with materials that will be needed to forge the full armor set titled “Ryu.” Players will also be able to download themed Street Fighter items such as gestures, stickers, and more throughout the event. The “Sakura” armor set will be able to be acquired during the second part of the Street Fighter quest and will arrive at a later date.

Two other challenge quests will be available this month and will be available for players in all platforms. Challenge Quest 1: Beginner requires a Hunter Rank of 2 and tasks players with slaying “all target monsters” within a special arena and is currently available through February 15th. The Intermediate variation of the 1st Challenge question runs from February 16th through February 22nd and requires to be at HR 13 or higher. Other current and upcoming events include:

The upcoming Street Fighter event is only one of three planned crossovers which will be seen in Monster Hunter World, the other two being Horizon Zero Dawn (going on now) and Capcom’s Mega Man franchise.
