The Witcher franchise originally began as a series of novels by author Andrzej Sapkowski, but found the attention of mainstream media audiences through the hit Witcher video games, as well as the live-action Witcher streaming series on Netflix. One perennial tradition of nerd-favorite genre fiction characters is to see them turned into high-quality action figures by McFarlane Toys, who have already started creating action figures based on the video game versions of The Witcher characters. Now, a new line of The Witcher Netflix action figures have also been announced by the toy-making giant.

McFarlane Toys recently announced the new line of The Witcher Netflix action figures on their official Facebook account. The post came with an image showing the Netflix series’ symbols for Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer: the wolf, the swallow, and the obsidian star, respectively. While no specifics as to which of the Netflix iterations of the characters will receive the action figure treatment are given in the post, this image might imply that the main trio of Geralt of Rivia, Princess Ciri, and Yennefer would be the ones to have action figures made.

While no images of what The Witcher Netflix action figures might look like are given in the post, one can look to the previously revealed McFarlane Geralt action figure modeled after his look in The Witcher 3 video game. The new Netflix figures will likely have a similar level of immense detail, as well as numerous points of articulation, qualities that McFarlane has been known for. McFarlane Toys confirms that the new figures will be released some time in 2021, but no specific window beyond that is given.

McFarlane has had a proven track record of creating quality action figures, so fans should feel safe knowing they won’t let Geralt’s gorgeous face down. Although fans can expect these figures will require them to toss many coins to their McFarlane.
