Within the first few minutes of the video below, viewers get a chance to see Godfall’s latest trailer, which is chock-full of both gameplay footage and cinematic scenes. Celebrating the upcoming debut, Counterplay and Gearbox released more than 50 minutes of developer commentary, gameplay footage, and behind-the-scenes content. Check it out below:
You meet Keith Lee, the CEO of Counterplay Games – the studio behind Godfall’s development – and the hard-working developers that made it all possible. At 5 minutes and 40 seconds in, senior technical producer Dick Heyne deep dives into the type of content players get to encounter as they ascend into Godfall, including footage of epic boss fights, the Seventh Sanctum home base, the game’s weapons and inventory system, and much more. Suffice to say, there’s a lot to take in and it sure looks shiny.
“Save Aperion,” began the short synopsis for Godgall. “You are the last of the Valorian knights, masters of combat equipped with legendary armor called Valorplates. Ascend in Godfall, a first-of-its-kind, looter-slasher, melee action-RPG.”
Are you ready to don the legendary Valorplates and save the realms from an apocalyptic doom? Godfall arrives November 12th for PC and PS5. The console exclusivity is expected to last for at least six months. After that, it might be fair game for the Xbox Series X and S.
