Sonic Mania Adventures Gives Fans First Look In New Teaser (VIDEO)

Sonic Mania Adventures

Fans of the classic long-running video game series have something more to get excited about next month. Sonic Mania Adventures is getting its very own short animated series based on the beloved franchise. The company has released a video to mark the occasion with a release in the not so distant future.

The sneak peek came during the “Gotta Go Fast” panel at this year’s SXSW. Sonic Mania Adventures will run for five episodes and will involve the same team that created the opening cinematic for the game Sonic Mania. Original composer Tee Lopez will even be returning to bring the same feel in sound that fans got from the game. Also featured in the series will be fan favorites Knuckles the Echidna and Tails aka Miles Prower. Check out the teaser for yourself in the video below:

According to SEGA, the first three episodes of Sonic Mania Adventures will feature no dialogue at all. What the episodes entail is a complete mystery as of now, but fans can deduce that there will certainly be plenty of feet spinning action to go around. The first episode is set to release in April fro free on YouTube. After that, each installment will see a launch at monthly intervals until August. This, of course, coincides with the release of Sonic Mania Plus. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as we learn more about the upcoming series, and for other news going on right now, check out the following:
