Resident Evil 8 Reportedly “The Darkest And Most Gruesome” Entry Yet
It sounds like Capcom is taking things to the next level with Resident Evil 8. Still technically unannounced, the alleged next entry in the survival horror series has been long-rumored to be in development for next-generation consoles. Now, a new report suggests that Resident Evil 8 will end up being “by far the darkest and most gruesome” entry in the series.
The report comes by way of industry insider AestheticGamer aka Dusk Golem, who recently took to Twitter to air their excitement for the Resident Evil 8 reveal, which they previously said was supposed to happen back in April. Still, one can’t be right all the time, and the ongoing pandemic could have caused an unexpected delay in the reveal.
I don’t know much on Silent Hill I haven’t shared, but its apparently its revealed soon so I’m looking forward to it. I still believe it from what I was shown, but I do have a healthy skeptic in me.
RE8 I’m excited for the reveal, it’s by far the darkest & most gruesome RE yet.

As stated in the above tweet, Dusk Golem thinks that Resident Evil 8 will end up being both the darkest and most gruesome Resident Evil game in the series, which is saying quite a lot given the franchise’s longevity. Not much else is said from the leaker, other than to prepare for “some of the most disturbing enemy designs in the RE series.” We’re certainly looking forward to it!
Resident Evil 8 is rumored to be in development for next-gen consoles.
