Jedi Fallen Order Sequel, Two Other Star Wars Games Confirmed

The past few years have seen its fair share of hints that a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel would eventually see the light of day, though it looks like Electronic Arts is finally giving its fans something more concrete to look forward to. It’s been confirmed that Respawn Entertainment is working not only on an official Jedi: Fallen Order Sequel, but also two newly announced Star Wars titles.

Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm Games have announced three new Star Wars titles from Respawn Entertainment. First among them is the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a rather timely reveal given the recent aspirations for the game shared by Cal Kestis actor Cameron Monaghan. If a Jedi: Fallen Order sequel isn’t enough, Respawn is also working on a new Star Wars first-person shooter game, as well as a Star Wars strategy game helmed by dev studio Bit Reactor. “We are excited to continue working with the superbly talented developers at Respawn,” said Douglas Reilly, VP at Lucasfilm Games.

They have demonstrated excellence in telling epic Star Wars stories along with best-in-class gameplay across different genres and we are looking forward to bringing more amazing experiences to the galaxy far, far away.”

Respawn Entertainment seems similarly enthused to be working on a suite of new Star Wars games. “Working with Lucasfilm Games on a new FPS in the Star Wars galaxy is a dream come true for me, as this is a story I have always wanted to tell,” said Respawn game director Peter Hirschmann. It deserves noting that Hirschmann previously worked as VP of development at LucasArts, and his accolades include working as an executive producer on the original Star Wars Battlefront games. Work on all three titles has already begun, with Respawn currently looking to bolster its roster. Those interested in working for Respawn can check out their careers page.
