Epic Games has been taking the shooter world by storm as Fortnite continues to prove it’s a force to be reckoned with. With an addictive Save the World mode and the Battle Arena portion being completely free-to-play, it’s no wonder than Epic had no plans to slow down any time soon.
Earlier this week we revealed the dev team’s plans to roll out Fortnite Battle Royale for mobile devices and now the registration for the latest platform is now live! To get even more amped, the team has also just released a brand new trailer to celebrate the coming release – Check it out for yourself in the video below!

The game will be coming to Android as well, but will first will be making its grand debut on iOS devices. The plan is to have every platform work together, despite Sony being the only one against cross-console play (note we said cross-console, not cross-platform).
We believe this is the future of games. The same game on all platforms. Console quality graphics and action. Play when you want, where you want.”
Starting today, sign-ups at www.Fortnite.com for the Invite Event on iOS are now live. “Email invites will start rolling out soon thereafter. When you are invited, you will receive an email with a link to download the game from the App Store. If you don’t receive an invite right away, don’t worry. We’ll be adding more players regularly over the coming months. Players who receive invites from Epic will also get friend invite codes to share with others. To participate, you will need an internet connection and iOS 11 on at least an iPhone 6S/SE, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad 2017 devices.”
We’re excited to see how this plays out! The team behind Fortnite have been incredible with their player base, showing their community involvement with pure transparency, rotating new events, and continuously giving players new reasons to play. We can’t wait to see what else Epic has in store!
