During today’s Xbox + Bethesda showcase, the team over at GSC Game World revealed the official gameplay trailer for the upcoming title. Check it out below:

Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl looks absolutely stunning visually and the combat appears exhilarating. As usual, the horrific creatures that our fearsome Stalker hunts look terrifying and ready to dismember you at a moment’s notice. Luckily gamers will have a particular set of skills that prepare us to deal with these threats, as witnessed in the gameplay trailer. That is, once we have changed our shorts from that terrifying mimicking of the monster at the campfire.

For those who are not familiar with Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl, below are some details from the game’s website:

It’s a unique blend of FPS, immersive sim and horror with a really thick atmosphere. One of the biggest open-worlds to date is yours to explore — along with an epic branching story with multiple endings. The Zone in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is one of the biggest seamless open-worlds to date. The game will feature an epic, non-linear story. Your choices will influence both short-term consequences and global outcomes.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl is set to release April 28th, 2022 on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
