Rainbow Six Extraction Cinematic Trailer, Gameplay, And Release Date Revealed (VIDEO)

Rainbow Six Extraction

It’s that beautiful time of year again, E3 baby! Today we kicked things off with the Ubisoft Foward event, which got things started right away with Rainbow Six Extraction. Formally known as Quarantine, the team decided to change the game’s name due to…well, the quarantine we have all been in together and deciding that it might not be the best name. Ubisoft may have changed the name, but certainly delivered on all of the hype we have all been feeling for this game’s release. E3 event showcased the cinematic reveal trailer first, which had us super amped up!

Right away, we see a lot of friendly faces returning in Rainbow Six Extraction. Many of the operators we are familiar with from Siege play major roles in the new title, comprising extraction teams and going in to root out parasites that are festering many iconic locations such as San Fransisco. Not only that, but as seen in the trailer, the parasites can even enter host bodies of operators. We will have to keep our heads on a swivel for all the action that will be coming our way. But what type of action are we going to see? Glad you asked! Check out the gameplay trailer below which showcases the intense combat ahead!

Let me just say that I am glad our own pandemic was not as terrifying as the events witnessed in Rainbow Six Extraction’s gameplay trailer! There are multiple tiers of the parasite, each more deadly than the tier below it. Stealth tactics are a major player in the new title, but when stealth is no longer an option, operators must be prepared to go loud and bring the pain! Players will need to rely on their fellow teammates to have their back and fight off the parasite. There is no better way to get your friends involved than the addition of full cross-play that will be coming with the game!

Rainbow Six Extraction arrives on September 16th to your platform of choice, including Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Stadia.
