Dinosaur Costumes, Banana Suits, and Sleds are Coming with Steep’s Winterfest DLC (VIDEO)

Winterfest

Fans of the open world extreme winter sports game Steep will have more to get excited about in May with the advent of Winterfest. Ubisoft’s latest DLC for this title is packed with goodies guaranteed to have players logging more hours as they traverse the Alps and compete for those medals. Here are all the details coming with this update!

The Alps is getting a touch of nostalgia next month with the addition of sledding. That’s right, now players can relive their mountainous childhood charging head first in a sled down the Alps. Steep‘s Winterfest Sled sport will enable players to compete in new challenges while exploring the open world. Be sure and clock those G’s in with collision mode as it is certain that someone out there is planning to reenact the Griswold family Christmas. Check out some of the new features in the video below:

Winterfest will feature 21 new challenges that include “larger-than-life foes” to face off against. New customization options are coming as well, which include 10 new costumes to add a little flare to your character. Want to slip down the slope dressed as a banana? Always wondered what an inflatable T-Rex costume would look like paragliding? Now players will have the ability to make that happen.

Of course, Winterfest will keep to the open exploration standard, allowing multiplayer adventures through the Alps. Season pass holders and those with the Gold Edition (which includes the season pass) will get their grubby little mittens on this DLC as soon as it hits on May 3rd. No pass? No problem. The DLC can be purchased for $11.99 separately. The DLC will be available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
