Hilarious Dark Souls Mod Brings GTA San Andreas’ CJ To Lordran
Let’s be honest folks, there are some video game mods that totally improve the game they’re built for, while there’s also a dark corner of modding communities where things get… a little weird. This latest Dark Souls mod is one of the latter, though we’re not complaining because honestly, it’s pretty awesome. Introducing the ‘CJ Carl Johnson from GTA SA DSR’ Dark Souls mod, which plucks Grand Theft Auto’s CJ off the streets of San Andreas and plops him down into the land of Lordran. From thugs to skeletons, you could say.
Dark Souls mods have the potential to get a whole lot stranger. It's now possible to import models from other games, or use new custom models. The import tool, created by Meowmaritus is here:https://t.co/Xivu8Hvqw0

Discovered thanks to well-known streamer Zullie, the Dark Souls mod is available for download for Dark Souls Remastered on PC, and features a custom model of CJ from GTA San Andreas. Downloading the mod and installing it replaces the game’s Hard Leather Set, so once players get their hands on the set they can conduct the ritualistic ceremony (putting it on) and turn into CJ. Alternatively, the Warrior class comes equipped with the armor set, so those looking to start their strange journey as CJ immediately need only start the game as a Warrior.
Keep in mind that the mod doesn’t change the character gameplay in any noticeable way; the player will simply look like CJ from GTA San Andreas, so you’ll probably still have a terrible time going through Blighttown. I know I did. Those looking to download the mod for themselves can do so right here.
Dark Souls Remastered is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It will be available for the Nintendo Switch on October 19, 2018.
