Call Of Duty: Warzone Duos Arrives In Latest Playlist Update
Duos have arrived to Call of Duty: Warzone! Infinity Ward joined the party when they released their very own battle royale edition. Up until now, however, the playlist allowed a variety of game modes including triples, quads, plunder quads, and solos. After a worthwhile wait, the team finally introduces duos to the queue. Check it out below:

Available for all platforms, duos is playable for Call of Duty: Warzone players. In duos, a team of two drop down into Verdansk with all the usual battle royale stakes. Whether that’s a random player or a friend is entirely up to you. Teams have a limited time to grab up all the loot and take down enemy teams before the walls close in. The last team standing takes the win!
Not sure how to navigate duos with a lesser body count? Infinity Ward offers a variety of strategies and tips to make the best of a different meta. While the rules of battle royale remain the same, how a duo team maneuvers hostile encounters differs drastically from a full team. For example, aside from implementing open and effective communication with your teammate, one player will have to take on a variety of roles. To do so, it’s recommended to utilize the Overkill perk to your advantage.
“Having only two Operators per squad also creates a potential meta shift, as you may need to consolidate multiple roles onto one Operator using the Overkill perk,” Infinity Ward explains. “Assault rifle-sniper builds are great, but if neither of you has an answer for vehicles or a close-range battle with a shotgun, you may be in trouble.”
Sounds like a challenge! Ready to dive in duos in Call of Duty: Warzone? It’s available now across all available platforms.
