New Valorant Agent Revealed In Epic Pre-Launch Trailer (VIDEO)
Valorant has officially revealed its 11th Agent and, well, it definitely isn’t League of Legend’s Kai’Sa. While the official reveal was expected to take place close to the official launch of Valorant next month, Riot Games decided to throw us a bone early be unveiling a new gameplay trailer, complete with a sneak peek at agent #11 at the very end.
The new Valorant gameplay trailer released by Riot shows off bits of gameplay for each of the game’s agents, ending on Raze and her explosive gameplay skills. The epilogue of said trailer kicks off with the sound of footsteps followed by a weapon being reloaded, after which our new purple-haired agent is revealed. Check it out below:
Very little is still known about the 11th agent, including her name. When speaking about her last week, Valorant game director Joe Ziegler simply stated that her reveal would be “a little spicy potentially,” and that they would “see how people react to it.” Seeing her now, I’m not really sure what they meant when they said ‘spicy’. Sure, her style seems unique, but it’s important to note that we also have a playable character that looks like he could be Overwatch’s Reaper’s edgy teenage son. Now that the cat’s out of the bag, we’ll likely get a full gameplay trailer prior to Valorant’s official launch on June 2nd, 2020.
