Classic Spyro Level Recreated In World Of Warcraft World Quest (VIDEO)
Many World of Warcraft players are beginning to hit the most recent level cap that came with the Battle for Azeroth expansion. From here many are turning to the World Quest grind. Grinding can be fun but also tedious at times, but Blizzard does a wonderful job at keeping things entertaining through creativity while hiding clever easter eggs throughout Azeroth. One of these World Quests makes a small nod to everybody’s favorite purple dragon: Spyro.
One player who set out to complete some of these World Quests and stumbled upon a mission for the Tortollan faction, which tasked the player with using a cannon to take out seagulls and crabs in order to help baby turtles make it to the ocean safely. If this seems familiar it’s because there was a quest in Spyro: A Hero’s Tail which was almost identical.
The image above is from the WoW world quest and below can be seen the “Protect the Turtles” quest from Spyro: A Hero’s Tail. Bear in mind that subtle throwbacks such as this are a commonplace for World of Warcraft. That being said, it adds a neat little bit of nostalgia that’s worth exploring around the world for.
