The Witcher 3 Bathtub Geralt Statue Is Now A Thing

With the success of The Witcher 3, the series has cemented itself as a gaming franchise worthy of merchandising and stretching into a multimedia presence. A live-action Netflix series is currently in the works, and the game’s iconic characters and elements are well represented in many gaming fanfare staples such as t-shirts, action figures and statues. Now, one new statue is representing a version of Geralt of Rivia most would never expect to see in physical merchandise form. Dark Horse has revealed their new The Witcher 3 bathtub Geralt statue and it is quite unique.

Polygon posted several new photos of The Witcher 3 bathtub Geralt statue at the recent New York Toy Fair. Dark Horse is well-known for crafting several other action figures and statues based on characters from mature series, but their other offerings have all been fairly standard versions of the characters. The statue references the infamous bathing scene featuring Geralt that has become somewhat of a meme on the internet. For many obvious reasons.

The risque collectible is currently listed with a “to be determined” release date, and it appears that CD Projekt Red has not even officially granted Dark Horse permission to sell the statue yet, which is likely for reasons related to its…uniqueness. Still, it’s impressively detailed for what many would perceive as something of a joke. What do you guys think about this The Witcher 3 bathtub Geralt statue? Let us know in the comments below!
