Players with EA/Origin Access accounts are getting a chance to download Battlefield 1 free today. The wildly popular first person shooter/MMO has been on many a fans list who may not have been able to get their hands on it. The wait for diving into WWI battle extremes, dear gamers, is now over.

Electronic Arts had recently announced that some popular titles would be coming to their vault in the not too distant future. Among them was Titanfall 2, which released free last month for subscribers. Now, joining the ranks of games in the vault is a Battlefield 1 free download as well. If you’ve been debating the value of an EA/Origin account, now is as good a time as any to join up and get shooting.

With a player base of what is likely now over 21 million players, a download for Battlefield 1 free is bound to ramp up that number even more. While the game launched this past October, EA is still rolling out content for their first person shooter. The latest DLC coming to Battlefield 1 is called “In The Name of the Tsar” and is set to release in its entirety this September.
