Thrak the Orc “Feels Pretty” in Two New Hilarious Promotional Trailers for Shadow of War (VIDEOS)
There are quite a few promotional videos being released for Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, many showing off the various tribes players will be fighting and recruiting. These trailers hold a dark and serious tone, however on the other end of the spectrum are some hilarious videos showing off a man named Jeff and his Orc roommate Thrak. Two new videos have released showing off not only Thrak’s cooking skills, but one also showing that the Orc is surprisingly good with kids (plus you get to see an Orc in a Tiara, come on).
The first trailer is that of Jeff and his roommate in the kitchen making a meal. When Jeff cuts himself with a knife, Thrak does what any other self-respecting Orc would do, put some on the food as a seasoning. Eventually Jeff passes out on the floor due to a loss of blood, all the while Thrak continues making food. It seems having an Orc for a roommate might not be the best when you’re injured.
The second video shows Thrak being left alone to babysit Jeff’s niece. Initially Thrak does not see the point of having a play fort with fortifications so weak “it wouldn’t even stand up to a Hobbit”. After Jeff’s niece starts crying however, the friendly orc tried to cheer her up even going so far as to dress up in pretty clothes and playing with her. He even says he’s “never felt so pretty,” and that’s just heartwarming. If you need a babysitter for the night now you know who to call.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War releases for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on October 1oth. Until then, be prepared to see more videos like these being released by Monolith soon.
