Brawling their way to Fortnite, street Fighter characters, Ryu and Chun-Li, have graced the battlefield! These iconic fighters hail from the long-standing Street Fighters franchise. Following the appearance of Master Chief, The Mandalorian, and Kratos, it’s now their turn to shine in the spotlight. Check out the introductory trailer below:

Harnessing the masterful Hado fighting style, Ryu is going to ‘Hadouken’ and ‘Shoryuken’ his way through opponents. Well, not really, but he’ll definitely have a Shoryuken! emote you can use! Competing for the spotlight is the formidable Chun-Li and her terrifying kicks. According to Fortnite, “Players are sure to get (many, many) kicks out of the Chun-Li Outfit and Nostalgia Variant. As a tribute to one of gaming’s greatest arcade games, she comes equipped with the Super Cab-Masher Back Bling and built-in Lightning Kick! Emote.”

Street Fighter fans can purchase separate bundles for Ryu and Chun-Li, which include a “Player Select!” loading screen, a Sumo Torpedo glider, and two different pickaxes — the Seven star Flashing Flail and the Signpost Pummeler Pickaxe.

In addition to the new characters, Epic Games introduces the latest Fortography theme: 1V1. Ready to show off your fighting moves? Street Fighter’s Ryu and Chun-Li are now available in Fortnite.
