Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Footage Teased For "Next Few Months"

As most are likely aware, Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment is currently underway on an all-new Star Wars game called Jedi: Fallen Order. Unfortunately, that’s largely all we know at this point, the secret project being kept firmly under wraps following its announcement around last year’s E3. Though details have been slow to pour out from official channels (not so much unofficially), it appears that this radio silence won’t last for that much longer.

According to a recent earnings call, publisher Electronic Arts plans to start showing off the game pretty soon, specifically “in the next few months.” The update came from EA COO and CFO Blake Jorgensen, who also teased the exciting spectacle in store for fans, saying, “You’ll start to see, in the next few months, glimpses of the Star Wars game. And I think you’ll be blown away by what you see.”

We played 20-plus minutes of it last week and it is exceptional in terms of its level of polished depth, and living inside the Star Wars world as a Jedi. I think people will be blown away by it.”

The promise of a proper showcase for Jedi: Fallen Order is likely somewhat relieving for fans, especially considering EA’s poor track record with actually following through with Star Wars games. Confirmation that Respawn’s project is indeed playable may present another good sign, further corroborating speculation that it might release by the end of this year.
