Resident Evil Village Producer Departs Capcom For Bungie

Resident Evil Village

Peter Fabiano has been with Capcom for quite some time, including working on projects such as the Resident Evil 2 Remake, the aforementioned Resident Evil Village, Devil May Cry 5, and more as a producer. So associated with the company, the creator even made an appearance in Resident Evil 7 as a character by the name of Peter Walken. Unfortunately with time comes change – sometimes good and sometimes bad. Fabiano will be going through a new change as well, officially leaving Capcom for Halo creator and Destiny 2 developer, Bungie.

A recent series of Tweets from the figure thanked Capcom for the last 13 years he was with the company, also confirming his departure for the teams over at Bungie. Fabiano’s journey elsewhere will see him inherit the department production manager position at Bungie and will be involved with the Destiny franchise. The capacity he might be involved in the series remains to be seen, but he’s sure to be a strong addition to the team regardless.

Resident Evil Village is currently available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. Even though the game is barely even a month old, fans have gone hard on bringing mods to the game, turning Lady Dimitrescu into Thomas the Tank Engine (as is a tradition at this point for Resident Evil titles), turning a variety of enemies into Barney, and much more. Have you been enjoying the horror title in all its ridiculous and wonderful glory? Let us know your thoughts on Peter Fabiano’s move from Capcom to Bungie and more in the comments section below.
