PS5 Game Listings Potentially Leaked By Retailers

PS5 game listings

There has been much anticipation this year by gamers for more knowledge about the upcoming next-generation of video game consoles. While the event was delayed to not draw any attention away from racial inequality protests occurring last week, the big PlayStation 5 event – which promised to reveal new games coming to the next-gen console – is next up on everyone’s mind. There have been many theories as to what games might be announced during this presentation, but very few concrete hints have been given. Now, it seems that retailers may have jumped the gun and leaked some hints with their new PS5 game listings.

Twitter user Nibellion shared images of new PS5 game listings that were discovered on Amazon. Many of the entries appear to be “dummy” listings for games expected to be announced later today at the PS5 event. No official titles are given, but the specific publishers of these games are disclosed, including the likes of Konami, Take-Two, and Koch Media. As per user Cyshox on Reddit, there may be as many as 118 PS5 game listings reading for release, but obviously, not all of them should be expected for Sony’s event.

PlayStation 5 October 2020 release date

Some rumors have pointed towards Konami publishing a new Silent Hill game that would reboot the franchise for the next-generation of consoles. Take-Two and Koch Media have a wide variety of franchises that they back. Take-Two could be anything from their 2K professional sports games to Borderlands, while Koch Media could be anything including Metro or Saints Row. Either way, it will likely not be long before these titles are fully revealed and verified. Hopefully, today’s presentation can deliver the goods so that the PlayStation 5 is assured to have an impressive library during its earlier days of existence. Hopefully, that includes a new Croc game.
