PlayStation Plus June 2020 Free Games Reportedly Revealed (VIDEO)
While the era of the PlayStation 5 is quickly approaching, Sony has ensured plenty of support for the current generation of consoles for the time being. This has included PlayStation Plus, which continues to provide a free lineup of games to all subscribers each and every month. With the end of May currently upon us, the freebies for PlayStation Plus June 2020 have now been revealed, adding to the likes of Call of Duty: WWII that was unveiled earlier this week.
As per a new report from Prima Games, sources with the site assured that in addition to the throwback Call of Duty title, Star Wars: Battlefront II will also join in on the free game fun for June. Going free early next month, this would represent some opportune timing on the part of the DICE-developed game, as the title recently completed its impressive two-year run of post-launch content. Having shed the woes of its controversial launch, Battlefront II has since secured itself as a true favorite among fans after doling out inspired content from not only the original trilogy, but the prequels, sequels, and even the animated Clone Wars series.
As Star Wars: Battlefront II has yet to be confirmed in an official sense, there’s currently no telling what other extras may arrive in time for PlayStation Plus June 2020. However, an official reveal is expected very soon. On the other hand, Call of Duty: WWII was confirmed to be free just a few days ago and is now available to claim for all PS Plus subscribers. Though these AAA titles are free-to-keep on PS4, offers like these are only guaranteed for the remainder of June, so it might be best to add them to one’s library sooner rather than later.
