Overwatch T-Shirt Leaks Winter Wonderland 2018 Junkrat Skin
Overwatch continues to roll forward with Halloween Terror 2018. But that doesn’t mean we can’t look forward to the future! In addition to the current spooky skins, a supposed leak shows off one of the next festive outfits.
BlizzCon 2018 passholders have the opportunity to see some exclusive gear on the Blizzard store before the big convention. One such item, a t-shirt, shows off the potential Winter Wonderland 2018 skin for Junkrat. A Reddit user posted an image of the t-shirt and his theory on the Junkrat appearance:
“The image is a little hard to see because there is no zoom feature on the gear store, but this shirt features Zenyatta in his Nutcracker skin, what seems to be Widowmaker in her Odette skin, but also another figure. This is a reference to the Mouse King from the Nutcracker ballet and what I believe will be a Junkrat skin. It definitely looks like Junkrat and I do not think they would portray him in this way just for this shirt.”
That Mouse King skin looks incredible from the limited glimpses we’ve seen. I believe that Junkrat contends for the best collection of skins in all of Overwatch. This will likely be a legendary skin and one of the best from Winter Wonderland 2018.
I would certainly agree with the Reddit user’s last sentence. Why would Blizzard tease Overwatch content that nobody could buy? They know that its players pony up cash whenever something awesome comes their way. Blizzard is in the business of printing money, not leaving it on the table. Still, this is a rumor, and we need to treat it as such until BlizzCon 2018.
Overwatch is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Halloween Terror 2018 is happening right now, offering players exclusive skins for the scariest time of the year.
