Overwatch To Be Featured Heavily At BlizzCon 2018

Overwatch

The full schedule for BlizzCon 2018 and Overwatch is featured across several esport events and stage shows. While the annual convention brings Blizzard’s biggest titles to the forefront, and surely there will be no shortage of World of Warcraft and Diablo, it seems Overwatch is the heavy hitter this year.

BlizzCon kicks off November 2nd and runs until November 3rd. Immediately after the opening ceremony, Blizzard plans on diving right into their Overwatch esports events. This will mark the start of the Overwatch World Cup Quarterfinals.

The Overwatch World Cup Quarterfinals are scheduled to run from 12:15 PM PT to 8:15 PM when the matches end. The next day will see the semifinals at 9:30 AM and end on the World Cup Finals at 6:30 PM. The games will be hosted in their own arenas throughout the convention, and viewers can check out all of the esport games played on one stage.

Overwatch

Esports is just one aspect of the franchise madness that will be at BlizzCon 2018. “Overwatch: What’s Next” is a main event that kicks off on the 2nd at 1:30 PM where fans can see what the developers are planning for the future of the franchise. The 45-minute presentation will likely unveil new skins, heroes, new features, and game events.

November 3rd will also feature two other events spaced apart to give room for others. First up, at 11:15 AM is “Voices of Overwatch,” an event that will feature voice actors from the game. The next event is later in the day and is called “Overwatch:Building a Hero” that intends to give fans a closer look at what goes into creating the characters. For those who want to see the full schedule, which is also knee deep in Diablo and World of Warcraft, you can check it out here!
