Overwatch Announces A-Mei-zing Addition to Nendoroid Toy Line (VIDEO)
Those who seek out and acquire collectibles may remember the Tracer Nendoroid figure that was announced back in February. Players of Overwatch that happen to be collectors may remember it even more. The adorably tiny cavalry, which is set to arrive by the end of Q3 of this year, is a brilliant take on the pulse pistol-packing hero. Now, to join the ranks of the previously announced Nendoroid figure, Mei will be making her tiny Good Smile Company debut later this year.
Much like the Tracer figure, Mei will come with a myriad of ways to articulate her. This will be of use in fans’ attempts to recreate poses from the hit FPS. In addition to the tiny Mei, buyers will receive plenty of interchangeable parts, including different hands, faces, and accessories. Her Snowball, the drone that players know all too well, even comes with its own stand and a “circular effect sheet to show Mei activating her “Blizzard” ultimate ability.” Check out the gallery below for a better look at the collectible:
Mei is expected to arrive by the end of Q4 this year, and is available for pre-order right now. It will set collectors back about $50, which is the same price as Tracer. If Nendoroids aren’t your cup of tea, be sure to check out the latest batch of Overwatch Funko Pop! figures. Also, if players of the title aren’t aware, there is an in-game event currently going on, which you can read more about right here. Lastly, if the above gallery wasn’t enough to convince you of the adorableness that is the Mei Nendoroid figure, check out the video below, which was uploaded to the Good Smile Company YouTube channel:
Have the collectors of the world already pre-ordered their Mei figure? Are Nendoroid’s articulating collectibles more enticing than Funko Pop! variants, or are they all awesome?
