Battlefield 1 Reveals an All New Night Map Launching This Summer – Nivelle Nights (VIDEO)
Battlefield 1 recently revealed an all new night map that will be launching this June called Nivelle Nights. This will be available for free to those who have a premium membership within the game. Currently, players can see the work in progress version of the upcoming map in CTE (Community Test Environment). Many YouTubers have already uploaded their take and first impressions on it, but here is a non-commentary playthrough from TheBrokenMachine which can be seen below:
The map takes place in Chemin des Dames, France in 1917 where German and French armies were battling for territory. The description from the official Battlefield website is as follows, painting a detailed picture of the ambiance:
As darkness falls over the muddy battlefields around Malmaison and Soupir, French and German batteries prepare to yet again support their troops on the contested ground. The moon, the searchlights, and the artillery lights up the night skies, exposing the vast network of trenches. Bite and hold as your foe will fight for every inch of ground. Strategy and teamwork will overcome those who have neither.”
There are no news whether Nivelle Nights will accessible for purchase to non premium around the same time, or if the map will become a free addition to all at a later time. More information will be revealed as the date inches closer to release. In other Battlefield 1 information, DICE has release new monthly updates and DLC concept art for viewing which is a new method they’ve implemented this time around, instead of releasing seasonal updates and notes.
