New Monster Hunter World Trailer Showcases Glavenus And More (VIDEO)
A massive “Brute Wyvern” the Glavenus is a terrifying beast capable of breathing fire and wields a sword-like tail that the beast can wreath in flames and use to devastating effect. The creature was first introduced in Monster Hunter Generations, however, it will be making a return alongside previously announced Fulgur Anjanath and Ebony Odogaron subspecies in the upcoming Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion.
A new trailer has arrived showing off the Galvenus’ return for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne in all its destructive glory as well as the looks at the new elemental effects on the subspecies of Anjanath and Odogaron. The trailer also gives a decent look at the new gathering hub coming to the title called Seliana, a base within the Hoarfrost Reach that will house the necessary tools for players to craft, research, and collect Argosy resources on top of sporting some relaxing hot springs for Hunters to enjoy after a long days work.
A recent blog post from Capcom also reveals that players will also feature rooms for players to obtain and decorate with a variety of furniture various other items. An update that will arrive sometime after the release of the expansion will even let Hutner invite friends over to check out their fresh new abode. Squads are also be implemented as a feature for the game giving players the ability to add friends and manage their squad members with ease.
Monster Hunter World is currently available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The Iceborne expansion is set to release on September 6th for consoles while the PC version is looking at a release sometime during the winter season. Iceborne is looking to release with quite a few new, and familiar beasts for players to hunt down and defeat. What creature are you most excited to see make an appearance in the upcoming expansion?
