Netflix’s Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Teases New Adventure (VIDEO)

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous

The original Jurassic Park introduced a simple idea, turning the most lethal creatures in history into a source for amusement through varying degrees of science and held within a massive park. Of course, things didn’t go so well as the ancient creatures who made up the attractions were inevitably let loose upon the island. Humanity showed their folly once again with Jurassic World, where tragedy struck with the arrival of another new park. Now, by the looks of a new Netflix series, it seems a group of children was given a chance to explore the new park as a sort-of science camp called Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.

A trailer recently dropped for the upcoming animated series, showing off the wonder and the terror that a group of 6 teenagers will experience as Camp Cretaceous is overrun with dinos. The 8-part adventure will take place during the events of Jurassic World, showing the opposite side of Isla Nublar as the island’s dinosaurs get released from their enclosures. Forced to work together in order to survive, the group will have to find a way to avoid getting eaten as they uncover world-threatening secrets and find their way off the island without help from the outside world.

The animated series is set to arrive on September 18th as a Netflix exclusive. As for the live-action movies, Jurassic World: Dominion, the new series’ third entry, is currently slated to release in theaters on June 11, 2021.
