Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn Gameplay Debuts Next Month (VIDEO)
Mortal Kombat 11’s Kombat Pack has been bringing some cool and brutal characters into the fray – with anything from returning Mortal Kombat characters like Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, and Sindel to the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800 Terminator and the infamous DC villain, Joker. Soon, wrapping up the first Kombat Pack for the title will be Spawn, the incredibly dark and violent antihero from the mind of Todd McFarlane.
According to a recent trailer released from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Spawn is set to see some snazzy new gameplay revealed on March 8th at this year’s Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Kompetition finale, or ‘Final Kombat 2020’ as it’s been referred to. Among all the touted happenings, the event will also see appearances from the likes of Todd McFarlane, the character’s voice actor Keith David, as well as Shang Tsung himself Cary Tagawa.
So far, practically zero footage of Spawn has been shown off, so it’ll be interesting to see how NetherRealm Studios will adapt his demonic abilities for Mortal Kombat 11. After the final character is released from this first Kombat Pack, perhaps the developer will look at introducing even more characters down the road, some of which may have already been teased in the past.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The upcoming Final Kombat 2020 is set to occur on March 8th alongside the reveal of the Spawn gameplay.
