Mortal Kombat 11 Reveals Liu Kang, Kung Lao Gameplay (VIDEO)
NetherRealm Studios has been konfirming oodles of new characters for its upcoming fighter Mortal Kombat 11, a handful of which having been revealed over the last few days alone. Now the developer’s new Kombat Kast livestream has confirmed the game’s latest additions of Liu Kang and Kung Lao, showing off a bit of their martial arts moveset.
Sporting both Revenant and his traditional klassic look, we first got a look at Liu Kang’s gameplay, including his fiery Fatal Blow attack as well as one of his full blown Fatalities. The former maneuver summons a fiery dragon that engulfs his unlucky foe, while the latter takes the much more brutal route of punching an opponent into shambles.

Of course, the Chosen One wasn’t the only fighter to feature, as Kung Lao also saw a glorious reveal following his trailer unveiling, providing a peek at the sharp skills the Shaolin monk has to offer. The character’s Fatality especially reflects this idea, using his signature bladed hat to effectively cut his enemy to pieces. Both newly-revealed fighters can be viewed in the video below.
Mortal Kombat 11 is set to release for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 23rd. The closed pre-order beta is now live and lasts until April 1st.
