Mortal Kombat 11 Liu Kang Jax Kung Lao

Mortal Kombat 11 is officially less than one month away, and while many players are preparing to take part in the upcoming beta, fans everywhere are gearing up to jump into the fight when it officially launches in April. That said, the character reveals keep coming, and the latest batch confirmed three classic fighters as well as 90s costumes that will be featured in the upcoming installment.

During Sony’s first State of Play broadcast, which is a Nintendo Direct-like livestream meant to reveal PlayStation-related news, the final trailer was for none other than Mortal Kombat 11. This was peculiar considering the game isn’t exclusive to any console, but at least we got some character confirmations out of it. Thanks to the “Old Skool vs. New Skool” trailer, we now know that Jax, Liu Kang, and Kung Lao are all part of the roster.

As can be seen in the video above, the time travel aspect is shining through. We already know that will be featured in Mortal Kombat 11, but now have an even better look at what it may result in. We see the 90s versions of some of our favorite characters facing off with the current iterations, which should surely make for interesting encounters.

Needless to say, the upcoming game is going to be filled with content for old fans and new. We just can’t wait for Mortal Kombat 11 to get over here on April 23rd for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
