Mortal Kombat 11 Reveals Brutal New Jax Gameplay (VIDEO)

Mortal Kombat 11 is laying down a flawless victory over fans’ hype as of late, showcasing some violently crisp gameplay in addition to dishing out new details about its time-travel-centric story. As part of its regular Kombat Kast livestream series, developer NetherRealm Studios has now unveiled new look at Jackson “Jax” Briggs in all his metallic-armed glory.

Previously shown off in the game’s story trailer, Jax’s powerful, punch-heavy moveset is on full display sporting the ability dole out extra pain through his increasingly molten fists. This heated capability comes into play for his Fatality, which foregoes all subtilty in simply punching his foe in half. Check out the action in the video below.

Now that only a handful of days remain until the eventful release of Mortal Kombat 11, hype is currently headed into full swing with reveals of several roster additions and the announcement of a decidedly movie-inspired look at Shang Tsung DLC. Today also marks the commencement of the game’s closed beta, which opens up a slice of the full experience for those who pre-ordered the game on select platforms.

Mortal Kombat 11 is set to release for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 23rd. The closed pre-order beta lasts from now until April 1st.
