Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin Roadmap Revealed (VIDEO)

Monster Hunter Stories 2

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin was released earlier this year, bringing fans a different kind of experience to the beloved franchise. Though having just been recently released, the title has already seen one major update, and now a new roadmap has arrived to give players a better idea of what’s to come throughout the remainder of the year.

A new trailer has been released showing off the second Title Update for Monster Hunter Stories 2, bringing players a bunch of new content that leans heavily towards new co-op experiences.  Fans will be able to take on Kulve Taroth with a friend in order to gain some incredibly rare materials through the new 8-star (timed) co-op quest, The Goddess of Gold. The update will also provide players with two new Monsties: the Hellblade Gladeus, and the Boltreaver Astalos. Throw a variety of new quests in on top of all that and you have loads of content to enjoy!

The second title update for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is now available as of August 5th, with the third update slated to release early this September. Said update brings with it the monsties Soulseer Mizutsune, Elderfrost Gammoth, and Oroshi Kirin. Late September will also see another title update with Dreadking Rathalos and Molten Tigrex, both ready to form some wholesome bonds (and eat all your food). This update will also see a high-difficulty Kulve Taroth mission for fans to challenge for even more loot. October will see one last title update for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin and will introduce a second – albeit unknown – co-op monster quest alongside Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian monsties.

The update slightly differs between the PC and Nintendo Switch versions of the game, where the Switch appears to be receiving a few quests before PC players will on August 19th.
