New Monster Hunter Film Set Photos Emerge, But Fans Aren’t Happy
The team behind the upcoming Monster Hunter film was very clear from the start that they a collision of worlds would be seen in the upcoming movie. Even still, the following images revealed has many long-time fans of the franchise more than a little concerned.
The upcoming film is set to feature a UN military team who find themselves traveling to another dimension teeming with monsters. Jovovich’s character, Captain Natalie Artemis, finds a Hunter played by Tony Jaa and together the head out on an adventure to save the world. The actress showed off some interesting photos on Instagram featuring the cast in full military gear, including a Humvee and a buggy.

Having no precedent for inter-dimensional travel in current lore, the premise of the film does draw some concern from many fans. Thankfully it seems that while the film will be changing some things, the core elements will be quite prominent as well. One of the photos posted by Jovovich features her character in full Monster Hunter-inspired armor and a”Slinger,” the wrist crossbow-esque utility device that’s become a staple within the franchise.

It might not be the film fans were expecting but it seems there is some hope for a interesting film. The movie has started filming however there is no release date currently set.
